Developing Your Personal Brand

A good brand will influence consumers to do business with your company.  The same holds true for you as a professional. A personal brand supports the reputation of your business as well as your career and standing in the community.  This workshop will explore the elements of crafting a personal brand and help you develop a brand that highlights your skills as a thought leader in the business world.

Thank you for attending for this workshop. I'm looking forward to meeting you tomorrow.  Please be ready to introduce yourself, First/Last Name, Company and an adjective/descriptor that starts with the first letter of your first or last name (your preference) .  It sounds silly, and it is a little silly, - but should get you starting to think about how you see yourself, or how you think the world see you, in one easy to share exercise. And it's a fun way to get to know everyone.

Also, If you want to jump ahead, you can start to identify your own Core Values.  These will help shape your visions/mission statements in regards to your personal Brand.  Since it's a pretty big concept, I know I like to have a little time prior to start to think about them, and get them top of mind.  You will have all the time you need after tomorrow to sharpen these, and make them yours

Some questions to help you set the stage for Core Values:

• What common traits and repetitive ideas do you have?
• What do you currently practice?
• List the values that you may not currently practice but aspire to live up to.
